General Grievous's rivalry with Obi Wan Kenobi

Intro - this post's purpose is to describe & analyze all fights which took place between these 2 before ROTS. The continuities of both legends and canon shall be mixed in this post. But i will refuse to include the novel of ROTS or the movie version of their duel.
=
Canon comic book's;
Chronology - since obi wans hair was long here this's before the battle of Christophsis/tcw season 1. Anakin was still his padawan here but he does not see or meet grievous.
Images;
Analysis: grievous relied on cheating immediately after the force push, though it appears he fought in a calm cool collected manner. Obi Wan left with the kid/hostage afterwards but never tried confirming the fate of grievous, this incident can be seen as obi wan overpowering him or in the best case a stalemate for grievous.

Detail's; Obi Wan had been captured prior to the fight itself, how exactly he was captured (by crook or hook) has not been elaborated upon.
This photo was for the conditions of obi wan before the fight, i wonder if it proves he was inferior to Grievous.

Their duel itself:
Analysis - The same old sloppy predictable, redundant script writing where a generic kick was done by grievous then he shows overconfidence by trash talk and falls for a force ability.
Based on later images obi wans hair was shorter in the comic book of this incident so its possible this was either after anakin was knighted or during anakin's last week as a padawan of the jedi order.

Other than these 2 incidents their was no comic book where they fought eachother unless you include the ROTS comic adaptation.
Image's;
Analysis: Here it would seem that grievous's unarmed combat skills were better than his abilities as a light saber duelist. Also unlike the movie here none of his arms/hands were cut, instead obi wan cuts his light saber hilts but not his wrists or fingers.
=
Now to move on with their legacy of their rivalry, here i will focus on their engagements in the clone war tv series (2008) which i basically hate but still i will try to analyze them or show evidence of these conflicts.
Duel 1;
Basic's - On the planet saleucami, obi wan was looking for Grievous, but upon finding him they both engage in a super short duel which ended in a impasse. Grievous retreating can be excused due to the amount of clone officers nearby, it became a danger-zone (he may not be able to handle multiple clones with obi wan at the same time).
Obi Wan disarmed grievous of 1 blade hilt but Grievous kicked him in the abdomen sending him away.
{giF}
Conclusion - For many seconds obi wan was KOED so its fair to assume if their was no plot protection (or clone presence) Grievous could have slain obi wan here.

Kamino:
Basic's - here grievous actually did maintain  the upper hand though again the writing team of the show opted for a generic script which led to grievous only getting a upper hand if he kicked his enemy.
They lacked creativity so they could not write it out to the point where grievous would use something besides his foot.
And once again his overconfidence/trash talk leads to grievous becoming vulnerable and failing in his objective. Cause obi wan uses a force push to make him run again.

Malevolence:
Basic's - here their fight did not appear to be a legit one cause they barely touched eachother, it was not a lengthy one either. All that happened is that obi wan evades the attack attempts of grievous then falls down due to losing his balance or being unaware of his own surroundings (whats in his back), after that he runs away. So its a inconclusive incident.

Rescuing Eeth Koth episode;
{Photo}
Basic's - though grievous indeed choose to run away more than once still his kicks were able to push obi wan back by a considerable distance. Though i firmly believe obi wan had plot armor the actions done by grievous expose him as a coward here, he cheats by using his guards to team up on him.
{Gif}
Grievous even staggered backwards after one slash maneuver of obi wan.

Battle while attempting to escape:
During that episodes ending their was one more duel between them it can be argued grievous could have won if escape was not a priority here. So he kind of redeems himself abit.

Season 5:
Basic's - after this kick obi wan orders a full on retreat and applied the 'scorched earth' policy, a tactic which prevent a enemy from gaining full victory despite being in a winning position, he destroyed his own ship so that grievous would not be able to gain access to it and any data present on the ship (as it  could be potentially harmful to the Republic if the separatists gain data like that).

And the crystal crisis arc would be something i do not need to analyze or provide any evidence for because it has already been discussed and its a well known incident which proves that grievous defeated obi wan fairly their.
=
Comparing them both (who won more often)?
In the magnaguard fight it was obi wan that did better so he gets a point for that, but while escaping grievous kicked him away so grievous got a point too.
Source - mission to rescue Eeth Koth episode

In season 5 its grievous who gets a point & kenobi gets nothing.
In the mission involving the wookie senator it was obi wan who performed better.
In kamino its basically a draw. Malevolence was inconclusive. So no points their.
At Caliban grievous failed, but he had to have captured him somehow off screen before caliban so both get a point here.
So far; 3 to 3, they're tied in points.

Crystal Crisis was grievous's W but Utapau in ROTS was kenobi's.

Kit Fisto (final respect thread)

This post is a sequel to that former one.
=
PART 1 (latest starwar's related content):
Accolade Mace Windu praised Kit Fisto and hailed him as unrivalled.
BasicImplying that he might've been superior to mace & yoda themselves. Or just a inconsistency (which the starwars universe does alot).
But since Prosset Dibs & Mace Windu both are the 2 characters who get the lion's share (main focus) in that comic i will not focus more on how it has handled fisto's character.

PART 2 - Kit Fisto in the micro series cartoon (2003).
Achievement (A)
Logic - This man was able to influence 9 objects and droids too (total 18 thing's) while underwater too, its impressive.

Achievement (B)
Logic - One swing from his lightsaber is enough to split open a vehicle twice his body size underwater.

Achievement (C)
Logic - he deflected blaster fire from 7 underwater vehicle's/battle-ships.

Achievement {D}
Logic - he might've been a expert in djem so. Cause that form is about using the opponents strength against them.

Achievement [F]
His "force orb" ability/technique is already well known & discussed by other star wars fan's so i do not need to show a piece of evidence for that or make a comment on it.
=
PART 3 (the worst tv series of all time aka TCW)
The moon incident referenced in that cutscene of Republic Heroes.
Logic - since this game was canon according to the events of the tv series i am counting that cut scene and link too. The problem is no elaboration has been given on the mission which involved both mace and fisto on Aldin's Moon.

But he does have this moment however;
I dont include the fight against grievous cause of two reasons:
First of all kit fisto had a anti feat too where grievous threw him against nahdar vebb with one arm, secondly cause grievous had not recovered fully for their second fight (its mentioned that by his medical droid). My final reason is that grievous was in his season 1 phase, so beating him is not impressive though TCW's version of grievous as a whole is a loser/big disappointment, its true he was nerfed still in season 5 and crystal crisis he was a more capable warrior.
So beating a season 5 or crystal-crisis grievous would be a more relevant achievement compared to beating a depowered season 1 grievous.
=
Performed better against Dooku than Yoda ever has.
Quote;
"Soon after Obi-Wan and Kit Fisto made their way to another control room, and engaged Count Dooku. However Obi-Wan cut down the backup controls while the Nautolan fought off the Sith lord. After the two prevailed, Sai Sircu entered the room and used the force to knock out Obi-Wan and Kit Fisto. Dooku then fled."
=
Part 4 (DarkHorse Comic's);
The incident where Fisto had a conflict with a bounty hunter guild.
Fought Harll (their was no result of their duel):
A conflict where aayla secura was fisto's ally.
Basic - apart from this their are no relevant achievements or actual combat feats which fisto achieved in a dark horse comic, at least not in legends continuity.

Quote;
"Fisto hurled his lightsaber into the starship of the fleeing traitor, causing it to explode. The blast knocked Secura from the landing platform into the ocean."
Note - Ironically his lightsaber demonstrated a special ability here in this incident, which was exploding objects and vehicle's. I wonder if he tossed it into palpatine's stomach then what would happen?
=
Part 5 [novels]
I already did cestus deception earlier so i will show evidence from labyrinth of evil for quotes about fisto's power.

He defeated magnaguard's:
Logic - these were high tier magnagaurds, just 3 of them were tough enough (in the same continuity) to give ROTS obi wan a run for his money, one was capable to match anakin.

Kit Fisto's telekinetic abilities displayed in the battle of Coruscant;
Logic - he kept up with mace windu & equaled his force performance.

Unknown history with Grievous;
Source - page 251
Kit fisto's line/dialogue 'here we go again' is a hint which leads me to believe that he fought Grievous one time before LOE (labyrinth of evil).

By the way the release of the book was before TCW (2008) so the battle mentioned is definitely not the death of vahdar vebb episode.
Conclusion - their was no fisto vs grievous duel in LOE but they did meet eachother, fisto fought his guards instead of grievous while mace himself duel's grievous.
=
For anything else related to the novel's i read shatterpoint but it had no achievements for kit fisto, all i found was anti feats related to mace windus character. I have not finished dark rendezvous but based on short summaries clearly kit fisto did not receive much attention/focus in that book.

OTHER;
Shii cho is not his only combat form (besides unarmed techniques).
Basically this other style involved tiring his opponent out in a fight.

In the battle of korm during the year 21 BBY both fisto & plo did confront asajj ventress, somehow when they were working as a pair she actually beat both of them by burying them below an avalanche though it is embarrassing for Fisto (he loses to her in Ord Cestus too) at least plo koon was able to redeem himself (by beating asajj later on).

The battle did have a couple of decent achievements for kit fisto however like these incidents;
Commentary: So it's not like the comic (which portrays the battle of korm) lacked a positive incident for his character. He got a telekinesis achievement also did a sneak attack against a opponent.
=
The incident where he had to work with Asajj Ventress in a comic.
This has been stated by ahsoka tano, a character from a continuity (tcw 2008) which overrates anakin skywalker, grants him plot armor, and hypes him up as being tougher than yoda/mace. The only thing i know for sure is that kit fisto was tougher than darth maul & obi wan kenobi but in my opinion he remained inferior to anakin, asajj ventress, count dooku, yoda & sidious.
The only debatable comparison would be plo koon/mace windu vs kit fisto but i feel that he can likely compete with either of them.

The inconsistent power of Durge

NOTE:
This will be about Durge from legends only, not TCW or disney canon etc.
=
Durge was able to defeat Plo Koon & Kit Fisto, 2 jedi masters who are rated higher in skill, experience, power and strength compared to Obi Wan Kenobi (as of the Muunilist battle).

Yet Durge was beaten by Obi Wan during the battle of Muunilist.
=
Over ten punches of Durge failed to do much against Obi-Wan but just one punch was able to make "Cartoon Grievous" fly away by several meters even cracking a statue.
[Obi-Wan]
[Grievous]
[Padawan who is Knight lvl]
Thats a huge inconsistency which has never been addressed.

Chronology: originally this post had been completed by May 8th [2023] i refused to publish it cause i felt like it was lacking something.
