Anoon Bondara (information).

One of the most least known but lesser-used character's in star wars debates/discussion's is "Anoon Bondara" but he is also at certain times overrated by reader's, debators and fans.

About Anoon Bondara.

1 - The whole "his lightsabre skill's being second to none" is an exaggeration or it's not credible. First of all the statement was made by his pupil (Darsha Assent) and not a more believable individual, he may just have been a better swordsman than all other jedi Darsha saw fight, she most likely never saw Yoda or Mace or Dooku fight. She was a young inexperienced padawan who most likely didnt even see a thousand jedi fight yet while the Order had over ten thousand knight's.

2 - Qui Gon Jinn did have duels with Bondara however not one is shown or elaborated upon in the book and content which features the character of Anoon in it. Claims of qui gon jinn defeating anoon bondara are false, as the result of their sparring match's was never shown in any star wars media, these claim's have been made up by fans instead.

3 - Anoon did not know Teras Kasi the line of Darth Maul recognizing that fighting style from Anoon could be justified as a "clerical error" done by the author instead. As for Teras Kasi (the martial-art) a practitioner need's to be unarmed, but anoon was wielding a light saber when Maul supposedly recognized this form.

Note; that in the duel between both of them Darth Maul made this judgement (of Teras Kasi) based on how Bondara parried his light sabre attack's not on how he uses his fist/foot. And their is no record, example or incident where teras kasi could be used with a light saber so its clear that the author made a severe mistake.

4 - Anoon Bondara being a Juyo stylist does make sense, because he was fighting darth maul (sith who is encouraged to use that form) as a jedi [anoon would be discouraged & conflicted about juyo's usage] he was inferior to Maul in it's use.

5 - I have not found the slightest mention of Bondara in the Plagueis novel. The only book which anoon is featured in as a character is where he has a minor supporting role isn't even as important as his own padawan & it was released before the film "AOTC" {attack of the clone's} hit movie theater's.

5A - Meaning it was written by the author without any knowledge that Mace was meant to be a big deal or that Dooku (character who was introduced first in AOTC) was the second best warrior after yoda or that Cin Drallig was the only jedi who could give Anakin a run for his money in the jedi purge when he invaded the temple.

6 - Those who term the killing of anoon bondara to be a "Good showinG" for darth maul are up-playing this feat and overrated the power Bondara possessed.

7 - Regarding his age Anoon Bondara in my opinion is at minimum 55 years old, as its mentioned he trained 3 padawans already, that his fourth padawan (darsha) has been with him for a considerable amount of time. And if we consider each padawan to have taken 10 year's then it makes alot of sense (to reach Knight-Hood status) for him to be over fifty.

But this is what i found in the book.

8 - Though it's true as per wookiepedia Anoon was the jedi temple's battlemaster its also true that this rank of battlemaster has been accorded to other jedi like "Joclad Danva" & "Cin Drallig" one (Drallig) was mentioned as being the sword-master of the Order when Obi Wan was youngling.

And it was he who refused to let Obi Wan or Anakin anywhere near the 7th form of light saber combat (Juyo not Vaapad). So its more than likely that Cin Drallig was battlemaster from 45 bby till 33 bby then anoon became battlemaster for a few months before being killed.

After that Cin Drallig again took up the role. Cause their is no reference that anoon was a instructor for any jedi in obi wans generation except for Darsha Essent.

Conclusion:

Darth Maul knew within the very 1st minute of his fight how anoon bondara was clearly not on his level, all he did was deflect a couple of light saber attack moves and fight on top of a vehicle, he was inferior to all of the Council Members and should not ever be considered a peer/equal of tougher jedi like Yoda, Dooku, Plo, Billaba, Gallia, Fisto.

Kit Fisto Respect Thread {2nd part}.

This post will provide the necessary details involving the power of Kit Fisto. The source's i will cover are CWA (clone war adventure comic's) & the ROTS Novel (his fight with Sidious is portrayed in an alternate way).

Part 1:

The first CWA comic involving Fisto is based on a underwater battle. He gained many victories their.

Note - Here Fisto broke through a window underwater just by entering into it. He also deflected a blaster bolt in very close proximity.

Note - Here Kit Fisto was able to sever a pistol and restrain himself against injuring the opponent. He did this while being in close vicinity of that opponent, he values the life of that opponent so he refuses to render them limb-less or disabled, definitely not dead.

Note: Was able to deflect bolts of energy with a blade & use his elbow as weapon, showing his combat skill in using his body itself as a weapon too.

Note; He had enough brute strength to squeeze a individual's throat or chin.

Note - Fisto used his force ability's to separate the beings that were attacking him underwater, he fought off what can be described as a tornado made of pink energy like being's.

Part 2 - Addressing Fisto's anti feats.

1st (his defeat against a prisoner);

It's a fact Kit Fisto was holding back against the prisoners, he did not desire to kill them as he knew the value of life, he was more easy going compared to Plo Koon.

If the people Fisto had been fighting with were sith or darksider's however (like Asajj/Sidious) then he would have tried to do anything in his power to gain victory.

Kit Fisto wanted to end this conflict without any bloodshed.

Clearly this comic had Fisto give his moral code greater importance, which led to him not fighting with full power. He prevented plo koon from taking a life.

2nd (his defeat against Durge):

Durge is even older than Yoda, hes over 2 thousand year's old in age.

Durge also proved his power against others, during the mission to queyta, three out of the four deceased jedi were killed by him only.

Durge also was capable alone (without any outsiders help) to defeat Obi Wan & Anakin together. Right before the battle of Boz pity, this occurred. Both jedi were willing to kill him so they were not holding back & it was after they had two and a half years of experience.

From what i have seen Durge himself had only two anti feat's in his career, one against Grievous the other against Obi Wan (in the battle of Muunilist).

The grievous one - though against a guy that was above mace windu in combat strength durge still had the help of Asajj yet failed.

The muunilist one - Durge's failure happened twice, first when he had armor then when he tried absorbing obi wan, he would have succeeded in killing obi wan during that part if the clones did not interfere.

I do believe if it was not for that two-necked/headed prisoner's aid then Kit Fisto would have died, he had even the help of Plo Koon, still Fisto was defeated however it's against a top class/high-tier enemy.

PART 3.

While being involved in a conversation Kit Fisto had enough mental focus to force push 2 people;

Survived an explosion.

Also was able to recover from flame thrower attack.

Kit Fisto seemed to have better durability than Mace Windu because of what happened in the Petranaki Arena;

Fisto could no sell a flamethrower but Mace Windu failed to do the same. Kit Fisto was also smiling the whole time during the Arena battle unlike Mace Windu who was frowning.

ROTS (Revenge Of The Sith):

These are the picture's of his importance in them.

{Note} - It appears that Kit Fisto was able to keep up with the combat speed of both Darth Sidious and the plot armored/amped "Mace Windu" character.

Though he also fell down, before that their was not a single instance or moment where Windu was able to perform better than Kit Fisto did in this fight. Also Kit Fisto smiling indicates to me that he might have actually been holding back against Sidious.

Another reason why this could make sense is that Fisto would have a false sense of security and happiness being in a 2 vs 1 scenario. Even if that's not the case it made no sense for him to smile against Sidious when he never smiled against Asajj Ventress.

Lastly - During one spar duel between himself & Kenobi in "The Cesus Deception" fisto admitted that he was holding back and said he should have let himself go deeper into the ferocity of form 1 against a JK droid.

LOE (Labyrinth Of Evil);

The General grievous held kit fisto in the same tier of warriors that Mace Windu was in.

Note: I can only assume that Grievous was ignorant of the list of anti feats that mace windu had. Or maybe he considered both windu/fisto among the list of "individuals that are below Asajj Ventress who is also below himself."

Intro - this post will provide all necessary detail's for the important achievements done by Kit Fisto. It can be considered a debating resource too for star wars fan's all around. It can also provide the true facts about Kit Fisto as a warrior so we can gauge him properly to see where he is at.

But it will be based on only one source, that is Cestus Deception (a Legend's Era Novel). I will not discuss Kit's appearances in other media like the movies, the micro series cartoon, or the comic based on the cartoon (Clone Wars Adventure's).

Palpatine told Fisto the jk droids had been exclusively victorious in all battles before facing Kit.

Later on during page 63 of the book he admit's that he could have done much better and was restricting his own power against this JK Droid.

Other achievement's;

[Rattled the ear's of a clone trooper/officer even though he was 20 meter's distance away]

{He was able to walk on his own 2 hand's instead of feet and when he landed from a fall he was able to do so with silence without making any type of noise, thus avoiding unwanted attention.}

His duels with Obi Wan Kenobi.

THAT APPEAR'S TO BE the unfortunate ending to their spar matches, the last one (where Kit used a LightWhip) was a play/act done by both jedi to spread a misunderstanding among all witnesses of their duel.

[E] - elaborating on the above;

A) While holding back and restraining his own power (Kit gave himself disadvantage's on purpose) Kit was able to dominate Obi Wan Kenobi & win the sword clash. Going on for longer than two hour's yet still Kit Fisto did not tire out, his stamina was legendary.

B) Kit Fisto while thinking about something else (He hissed at himself "hiss" is a word that mean's disapproval) was able to keep up with obi-wan's lightsaber moves, he decided to end the spar/duel in it's middle instead of going on.

C) Nothing much about this image other than the fact Fisto was capable with unorthodox weapon's that are very rare (cause they are not used often).

D) The duel ended, but Fisto's attacks were described as being extremely fierce and quick. Their was no result for it.

He was also trying to hold back "he tried to avoid lethal manuevers".

His condition before losing to Asajj Ventress:

Note: 2 words "harried" and "Singe" both involve violence. Harried is a synonym for harassed/fatigued & singe is another term for scorch/burning, so Kit Fisto was not at his peak during that period of time (he would improve as the war goes on till ROTS) due to being involved in many conflict's prior.

What is shown of his fight with Asajj;

Why him losing against her is not a anti feat or a lowball, or a reason to degrade his capability.

Reason 1 - Kit Fisto clearly had been injured prior to the battle already (note the word "singe" in page 339 and "harried" in page 341).

Reason 2 - Asajj Ventress began her fight against Kit fresh without any prior conflict, she could still have won fairly if the circumstance's had been different but it would be much more difficult for her.

Reason 3 - Asajj Ventress demonstrated that she's superior to all the underling's of Dooku in legends excluding Qymaen Jai Sheelal (general Grievous). Asajj even proved to be on Mace windu's tier as a warrior, demonstrated when she injured him early on in the war. She was also very knowledgeable in sith spells, though she did not use any against Kit Fisto.

Lastly - Mace Windu, Darth Vader and Darth Maul each got multiple anti feats, but still they get overrated by the star wars fanbase all the time.

I would rather be defeated by asajj ventress than get my butt handed to me or tackled by a Rhino (the same animal who padawan Anakin from AOTC was able to tame yet it beat Mace Windu knocking him down totally).

What I believe:

1 - Asajj's muscles and arms would be abit strained/tired or exerted after encountering Kit Fisto.

2 - Obi Wan Kenobi would've had an easier time dealing with asajj due to having fought asajj many times in the war already (Queyta, Ohma Dun are two of the place's they fought eachother).

3 - Asajj was overconfident with confronting Obi Wan so she lured herself into a false sense of security overextending herself. Becoming vulnerable.

4 - Being from a planet based entirely of land (rattatak) asajj was not proficient in fighting underwater, so when kit fisto interfered (he cut a object of the dock which aided the floor beneath ventress and kenobi's feet) forcing both opponent's (kenobi & ventress) underwater then the situation of asajj ventress just became even worser. It was not very fair for her.

{She also admitted that Dooku gave an order of sparing Kenobi}.

It's possible when she claimed that she'd kill him any way she was just trying to frighten him.

ONLY CON'S FOR KIT FISTO;

Asajj Ventress beat him without needing to use her Pyrokinesis (force fire/flame) ability, she also never used it on Kenobi but she did try to use it on clones & the space-ship's of anakin at Yavin Prime (in the micro series cartoon).
